Anita Lang-Bakar
Anita Lang-Bakar was born and raised in France before coming to the United States to attend Smith College in Massachusetts. She obtained a degree in Political Science and worked on Wall Street for 20 years. But that was then and this is now. Now, Anita is a California State Board Licensed Acupuncturist and a nationally certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She also has a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco and is a certified Massage Therapist in Tuina, a Chinese form of body work that complements her holistic approach to healing. Anita has accumulated over 1000 hours of clinical experience at the ACTCM Community Clinic and the ACTCM Auricular Clinic as well as at the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) Stroke Rehabilitation Unit. But that’s not all--Anita recently received her certification in Constitutional Facial Rejuvenation and is enrolled in a postgraduate specialization certificate in TCM Dermatology that she will complete by 2012. It is the first program of its kind offered in the United States.
